  • 200ml of water used for cooking carrots
  • 100g pureed carrot
  • 110g sodium hydroxide

  • 10 drops carrot essential oil

  • Before starting, put on rubber gloves, make sure you have space to work with the ingredients and use wooden/thick rubber utensils.

Step 1: Boil the carrots until soft, remove from heat and puree with a fork.

Step 2: In a separate container, combine the pureed carrots and add 200ml of the cooking water.

Step 3: Carefully add the sodium hydroxide while stirring with a wooden spoon. Let the mixture sit for several minutes.

Step 4: Incorporate the coconut, olive, and almond oils along with the honey and carrot seed essential oil into the mixture.

Step 5: Stir with a wooden spoon. You’ll notice the mixture will start to thicken.

Step 6: Put the mixture into your molds and let it harden for 3weeks before using.

The result will be a soap that’s free of chemicals, made with ingredients that are beneficial to the skin.

Use it to clean your face daily or use it to replace your body soap.

Note: For better storage, avoiding leaving it in a humid area and place it in an airtight container or soap dish after use.
